My name is Kamand "Kame" Khadivian. I have been involved in "art" projects for many years, but it wasn't until high school, that I worked on my art skills, including photography, painting, designing, and sewing on a regular basis.

I take freelance black-and-white and color photos which include fashion, people, action/sports, scenery and animals. I began freelance painting while attending university of Houston. My painting styles include contemporary, abstract, and floral's. I have sold and do sell some of my paintings. I have done a promotion for Saks Fifth Avenue, where I painted flowers on Narciso Rodriguez perfume bottles. I also enjoy fashion design and sewing. I have designed and made clothing for myself, friends, and people in the community. My design style might be seen as urban uniqueness with a touch of elegance. I can design and make mainly shirts and dresses, but can also do pants and skirts as well. My specialty are designing t-shirts.

I graduated from Kempner High School in 2001. Throughout high school, I took photo journalism and yearbook class, where I was able to participate in "hands on" activities which included taking photos, film developing and photo enlargements.  I was in the yearbook class for three years, where I was able to work on my creativity in photography. I became the head photographer in the year book class my senior year. I was in charge of taking pictures at games, events, and academic functions. This helped to sharpen my photography skills. Annual competitions would give awards for outstanding work at which I would receive first, second, or third place in city and/or state competition. Two of my photos were published in a national photography book, and was awarded 3rd place in the National Amateur Photographers Competition. I have also entered some of my art work in City competitions, and have had art shows where I display my work.

I currently attend University of Houston, where I major in marketing. I am planning to further my education, and get my masters in Marketing.
